| Role Purpose | Implement and monitor the compliance strategy to assist the Health business in honouring their responsibility to comply with applicable legislative and regulatory requirements through the provision of compliance services and to identify, assess, manage, monitor and report regulatory compliance risks facing the organisation. |

| Duties & Responsibilities | Execute compliance activities in line with the compliance monitoring plan-(Internal Process)Execute compliance activities based on the Compliance Monitoring Plan in order to provide assurance on the level of regulatory compliance.Ensure that compliance support is aligned with the strategy of Health Business.Execute the regulatory compliance breach management and follow-up process in order to address the identification, analysis and resolution processes to be followed as well as the escalation procedures.Provide professional advice and guidance to the Health business regarding compliance matters.Contribute to the initiation of critical statutory projects at Health and monitor the appropriate implementation thereof by the business.Create awareness within the Health business regarding new compliance requirement or provide guidance on potential impact of compliance requirements.Support the business stakeholders identify compliance risks or weaknesses for which the business should consider additional mitigating action, or processes and/or procedures.Prepare training material and deliver training in compliance with regulatory obligations and Health business procedures if required.Contribute to and prepare the necessary documentation for the submission of business enabling statutory applications to applicable regulatory and industry or supervisory bodies.Provide input from a compliance perspective into Health business projects and initiatives.Deliver compliance reports that highlight compliance activities and instances of non-compliance, both internal and external within agreed time frames.Initiate and contribute to the review of all critical business policies from a regulatory compliance perspective and make recommendations for improvement.Monitor changes in relevant legal requirements and other regulatory developments which may impact on the company and advise business on their implications;Assist the legal function where necessary by providing advice when new processes and/or procedures are developed or when existing processes and/or procedures are amended to ensure continued compliance;Collaborate with other departments (e.g. Risk Management, Solutions, Operations etc.) to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution.Act of a point of contact for Compliance to the Health business and internal clients and channel appropriate information and resources to these stakeholders.Support the Heath business by evaluating and prioritising Health risk-based compliance assurance activities.Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as the wider compliance community within the MomentumMetropolitan Holdings (MMH).Contribute to sustaining business continuity through external networking and representation on related forums.Keep abreast of trends, legislation and best practices within the compliance field specifically related to the Health business in order to optimise service offering and delivery, and advise the Executive Committee(s) thereof.Engage with clients in a client centric manner-(Client Services)Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
