The transformation and growth of the existing GSS organisation will lay the foundations for GSS’ ambition to be a strategic asset for Anglo American and is therefore a critical project on the roadmap to delivering the Burning Ambition.
Job Description:
More of your responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for resolving second and third tier level queries that the GSS Travel & Expense (T&E) team are unable to resolve
- Liaise with Group IM/Accenture web methods team to debug and apply coding changes to rectify integration issues
- Correspond with internal Anglo American support services to identify and rectify issues impacting SAP Concur
- Recommend and authorise amendments to workflow as and when required and keep updated on all change actions
- Responsible for authorising the creation and/or amendment of audit rules were required to drive SAP Concur user behaviour
- Monitor and evaluate the support to the SAE extract and posting process with regards to failures
- Lead the Data Refresh Services and sync on the T&E ecosystem
- Responsible for investigating online booking failures and liaise with the Travel Management Company regional teams to understand and resolve data profile issues
- Maintain the master design for the Travel Management Company integration file when onboarding a new organisational unit
- Manage the report generation delivery for the T&E team ensuring that the supporting teams provide reports timeously and accurately
- Ensure that the T&E ecosystem is maintained through repeatedly evaluating performance identifying, proposing, and implementing enhancements.
- Responsible for the configuration of the T&E Ecosystem to accommodate new features eg Airbnb, Uber for Business.
- Responsible for the onboarding of smaller business units to the T&E ecosystem were no major configuration and project management services are required
- Support the T&E team with business case formulations for new potential GSS clients
This role is at a Band 6 level reporting to the Global Travel & Expense Superintendent
Qualifications:
- Relevant bachelor’s degree qualification
- Knowledge of Travel and Expense Management systems
Experienced Required:
- 5+ years’ experience configuring and supporting a Travel and Expense ecosystem
- Expert knowledge of SAP Concur with ability to be the functional subject matter expert (SME) for the Travel and Expense ecosystem
Technical Knowledge:
- Excellent communicator passionate about the business and user experience
