KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily capturing of bank statements including bank reconciliations
Debtors Invoicing for goods delivered and credit notes for returned goods
Debtors collections
Handling customer queries, telephonically and via email
Reconciling of customer accounts and sending of statements
Credit checks for new account customers.
Weekly debtors and sales reports
Assist with the calculation of monthly agents commission
Tracking and reconciling sales ambassador allocations
Stock control within DEAR
Stock adjustments and transfers
Management of consignment stock locations
Reconciling the accounting system to the stock management system
Manage and execute stock takes
Managing the maintenance and operational requirements of the following platforms: Xero, Payfast, Zapper and Shopify
Inter-company accounting and reconciling
Petty Cash Control
Full function accounts payable
Expense claim review and authorisation
Balance sheet control schedules
Income Statement schedules
Variance Analysis Income Statement and Balance Sheet
Pre month end pack preparation
QUALIFICATIONS:
B-Tech or B-Comm degree
Job Experiences and Skills Required
3-5 years experience as an accountant
Proficient in Xero accounting, Excel, DEAR or QBC and Microsoft applications
