HEAD OF TALENT ACQUISITION REF: KK414 Market Related

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the HR operations across all touch points of the employee journey to deliver a positive, engaging and meaningful experience for candidates, employees and managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Talent acquisition strategy, process and partners
Employee on-boarding and orientation
Career development and talent management (Mobility)
Providing HR advisory services to employees and managers
Employee benefits administration and advisory services
Employee engagement
Employee off-boarding
Policy and process drafting, review, implementation and monitoring
Managing talent acquisition for senior and specialist / technical / consulting level roles
Providing input into resource planning and reporting
Managing employer branding and HR communication campaigns
Managing relationships with internal business stakeholders and external stakeholders
Representing HR at relevant local and Shareholder forums
Leading and/or participating in local and Group HR projects
Assisting with the financial management of the HR Cost Centre including budgeting, managing suppliers, expense control and reporting
Responsible for HR governance and control within area of accountability
Managing relationships with internal business stakeholders and external stakeholders
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and ensuring best practices are applied where applicable
Managing team to ensure optimal performance, engagement and succession

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Relevant Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 10 years HR experience
Expert knowledge of HR processes, practices and policies
Sound understanding of SA Labour Law
Previous people management experience
Project Management experience
Previous Financial Services and/or Retail experience
