| Duties & Responsibilities | 1. Control CostsIdentifying cost-saving opportunitiesEnsure policies and procedures are adhered to2. Balance Sheet ReconciliationsMonthly Balance Sheet reconciliation3. Bookkeeping ResponsibilitiesRecording of all transactionsMaintain the bills and the receipts as ready reference for any transaction recordedDraw up the trial balance at the end of each yearReconciles and balances accountsEnsure that expenses and commitments are issued with a PO number and are properly authorised and paid- Monthly allocation of central chargesParticipate in internal and external audit processesFollow all processes according to legal and regulatory requirements4. AdministrationOn time reporting to managementEnsure that all reconciliations are carried out as per the required procedureMonthly reconciliation of R&MAdministration of Petty Cash CardsEnsure that Debtors Masterfile remains up to date5. Implement and manage key relationsEnsure and maintain ongoing exceptional relationships with the customers and suppliers – Provide and maintain efficient quality services6. ReportingProvide continuous and timeous feedbackTo report and follow up on all discrepanciesMonthly Reporting on Credit Risk ReportingMonthly Debtors Reports to BU’s for commentary7.
