The German International School Cape Town (DSK) is looking for a

Student Teacher (Bursary)
for 2023

The DSK offers schooling to German mother-tongue learners from Grades 1 – 12 and English-speaking learners from Grades 5 – 12. Our school leaving qualifications are the National Senior Certificate (NSC) and the combi-matric (Abitur and NSC) in accordance with the German national curriculum. Our lessons are taught by qualified and experienced German and South African teachers. We are a modern and well-equipped international school with a diverse student and teacher body. We are looking for a self-motivated and passionate student teacher, who is either already studying or has been accepted to study education at a South African University or an accredited tertiary institution, for the intermediate and high school phase (Grade 5 – 12).

The following would be supported subjects:

German
German as foreign language
Mathematics
Physics
Chemistry
Life Science / Biology
Other requirements:

Matric
Proof of registration / confirmation of acceptance to study B.Ed. / PGCE
Open-minded and dedication to studies
Team-player
Applicant must be fluent in English; German language skills advantageous
South African citizen or Permanent Resident
Our package includes:
