Job Description
Purpose of the job
The main objective of the position is to perform efficient and high standard engineering as out laid in the SACAA CATS and CARS.
Key responsibilities
q Ensuring effective aircraft maintenance in accordance with Aircraft Maintenance manuals
q Manage and control workflow processes
q Control tools, equipment, parts and consumables
q Control subcontractors
q General house-keeping practices
q Carry out all additional tasks related to audit and planning processes
q Assist with all ad hoc duties as assigned by the relevant manager
Job Requirements
Qualifications
Education:
q Grade 12
q Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
q Aircraft Structures Trade
Experience:
q 4 – 5 Years’ experience as a qualified Sheet Metal worker (Aircraft Structures Worker)
Other Requirements
q Ability to work overtime and travelling (away from base maintenance may be required)
q Valid drivers license and own reliable transport
q Valid passport
