FOUNDATION PHASE TEACHER
(Commencement date: 1 January 2023)

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE EXPECTED TO:
Engender a healthy environment for pupil development and learning.
Be prepared to work according to the St Patrick’s College Christian ethos and according to Governing Body policies.
Have a love for children and an ability to interact and communicate with them.
Have competent interpersonal and communication skills.
Have the capacity to develop and sustain new teaching and learning ideas.
Participate in the extra mural programme of the school.
REQUIREMENTS:
An appropriate Degree/Diploma.
Fluency in English Language English (written and oral).
Current full SACE registration.
National Register for Sex Offenders (NSRO) compliant.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Experience in teaching in the Foundation phase would be a strong recommendation.
Experience in the “Number Sense” programme would be a strong recommendation.
