Requirements :
- Minimum of Grade 12 or Equivalent with 1-2 years’ experience in Hospital environment, (Any additional Qualification related to admin and knowledge of HIS, SAP will be added as an advantage) knowledge of patient’s administration duties in line with UPFS manual, computer literacy, communication skills, Ability to work under pressure. Knowledge of customer care and Batho Pele Principles. Have a good communication skill (written and verbal) .be prepared to work shifts.
Duties :
- Filling and retrieval of patient’s medical records and collect the patient medical records in all areas. Be prepared to work shifts and assists other section of Patient Administration when requested. Ensure that ward statistics are done on a daily basis. Safekeeping and disposal of patient’s files in terms of National Archives Act. tracing of missing files. Correct capturing and completion of downtime register and down time tool. Tracking the movement of the patient’s medical records on the system and register book. Assist SAPS on the completion of J88, and completion other stakeholder forms. Capture and update patient information on the HIS SAP system. Perform all other duties of patient administration as delegated by the supervisor. Be able to rotate within patient Admin.
