Penryn NPC, situated in Mbombela, Mpumalanga, is an independent co-educational school with a Christian ethos, linked to the Methodist Church. Penryn is a member of ISASA and a global member of the Round Square organisation.
Penryn College is seeking to appoint a dynamic, self-motivated individual in the position as Head of Department: Life Sciences teacher for Grades 8 – 12.
Key requirements for the post:
Relevant professional qualifications
Teach Life Science to Grade 8 – 12 classes
Experience in IEB/Cambridge curriculum would be advantageous
Set and mark of assessments, exams and preparation of report comments
Curriculum development for Natural and Life Science
Participate in extra-curricular programme of the school including sport and culture
Attend parent meetings and information sessions
SACE registered

Patience, empathy, compassion and diplomacy
Ability to communicate effectively and confidently to scholars, staff and parents
