Requirements
- A relevant Tertiary qualification
- At least 5 to 8 years relevant
- Security experience in a supervisory capacity
- Ability to interpret and implement various Safety and security
legislation for events. - Knowledge of Risk Management and Safety and Security
Management at events. - Ability to liaise with various relevant stakeholders in the field.
- Ability to work under pressure and outside normal working hours.
- Computer literacy
- Good administrative communication planning, organizational and
supervisory skills. - A valid Code EB driver’s license
Key Performance Areas - Assist in the development and implementation of safety and
security standards and procedures for events including; crowd
control event security planning national and international at the
Cape Town Stadium and Green Point Park. - Provide safety and security inputs in the management of safety and
security aspects as well as implementing service delivery
maintenance schedules. - Ensure that all access and egress points are secured to industry and
facility standards on event and nonevent days. - Manage on site staff deployed to perform daily safety and security
functions. - Develop and oversee the implementation of asset and stock
management, health and safety systems and procedures and
reporting to the technical committee on projects programme
progress. - Participate in various meetings.
- Internal and external forums e.g. SAPS and provide input.
- Manage capital and operating budgets and control
- expenditure against the approved budget allocations
- Responsible for contract management and developing relevant
reports and correspondence of a
safety and security nature
