Title: Retail Sales Supervisor, Permanent Position
Reports to: Financial Director
Hours: Mon – Thurs 08:30 – 17:00, Fri – 08:30 – 16:00
A leading textile company based in the Northern suburbs seeks to employ a Retail Sales
Supervisor.
The ideal candidate will:
Have a completed Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
Be computer literate. They will be proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience
working on a POS system.
Have strong interpersonal skill with a positive outlook.
Be assertive without being aggressive.
Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to handle stress.
Possess strong work ethic
Retail sales experience required
Textile experience advantageous

Key responsibilities:
Manage a team of 8
Supervise, train and assist employees with customer service and store maintenance.
Establish and maintain long-term relationship with clients to generate repeat
business and referrals.
Liaise with customers telephonically and face to face regarding new orders,
outstanding orders and stock availability.
Provide excellent customer service and accurate information regarding the product.
Processing invoices and customer payments using the shop’s Point of Sale system
Receive and process cash, credit card and EFT payments within defined procedures.
Oversee daily cash up
Assist with annual stock take
