Job description
The role requires a driven individual with analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills that will assist the Operations Department in contributing to the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set out by the division.
The primary function of this role is to take administrative responsibility and provide support to the finance and stock management functions by:
engaging with internal and external stakeholders in resolving queries
assisting the Operation Process Administrator with data collection
identifying improvement areas within the portfolio
performing clerical tasks
Duties and Responsibilities
Follow up with stores on expenses allocated to the incorrect petty cash accounts
Engage with store and field managers regarding out-of-line stockloss results
Follow up with stores and field managers for non-adherence to the stocktake process, i.e. no count/stocktake adjusted
Follow up and collect data on unacknowledged cartons, inter-branch transfers and direct store deliveries
Assist the Operations Administrator in resolving stock queries timeously and escalate where appropriate
Setting up “zero” stocktakes for store closures which includes the processing of the stocktake
Extracting store ROAM reports for review
Reporting on new accounts results
Lay-by reporting and following up with store and field managers to address areas of concern
Monitoring of the UGU (store electricity unit) and addressing out-of-line usage
Monitoring store conversion percentages and engaging with stores and field managers to improve conversion
Extracting and compiling stock reports for review
Assist in preparing monthly management reports
Maintain high levels of internal service and continually seek ways to improve service levels
Building and maintaining good relationships with divisional field management
Requirements
Business degree or equivalent diploma
Computer literacy and well versed in using Microsoft Office tools (Word and Excel) will be advantageous
